Condition for membership


Members of the Association may become Bulgarian or/and foreign citizens or legal entities, who accept the objectives, the tasks and forms of activity of the Association, are capable of helping the accomplishment of the Association’s aims, act in compliance with the articles of this Statute and pay regularly a membership fee.

 

All natural persons, who have reached the age of 18 can be accepted as members of the Association by decision of the General Meeting . Each candidate for membership should have no previous convictions, a good name in society and a university law degree. All legal entities, accepted as members of the Association by decision of the General Meeting shall be represented by its managing bodies or by a person authorized thereby. Honorable members of the Association shall be Bulgarian or Foreign persons proposed by the Managing Board or a member of the Association and accepted by decision of the Managing Board. All honorable members shall be free of paying membership fee. The obligations of the honorable members shall be the same as those of the regular members of the Association.

 

ADMITTANCE OF MEMBERS

 

All regular members shall file a motivated written application for registration with the Managing Board in which the candidate shall express readiness to assist the fulfillment of the Association’s aims and to comply with the Articles of this Statute and the internal rules of the Association. The application for admittance shall be accompanied by written recommendations by at least two members of the Association. The Managing Board considers the application and makes a proposition for acceptance to the General Meeting

 

The Managing Board shall decide on the application on its next meeting after the filing of the application and shall forward it to the General Meeting, along with a motivated proposal .
Once admitted, each member shall declare a postal and e-mail address for correspondence needs. All information, received on either addresses shall be considered duly communicated except in cases when the present articles provide for different ways of communication.

 

The decision for membership comes into force after the payment of the membership fee.
